What is a ‘Go-Kit’
A ‘Go-Kit’ is any container or bag, packed with essential items to sustain you and your family for at least three days during a disaster or emergency. This container/bag should be pre-packed and stored away in an easily accessible area, ready to be grabbed during an emergency where you need to evacuate. Each person should preferably have their own, even on smaller scale, to be prepared if you get divided during evacuation (yes it does happen!)
- Basic ‘Go-Kit’ (does not include backpack) – Start from R1 600
- Advance ‘Go-Kit’ (family of four – does not include backpack(s)) – Start from R3 300
- Full ‘Go-Kit’ (include backpack – no clothes) – Start from R4 100
- Community/School emergency awareness program (one day – R550pp)
- Personal/family/school/ community emergency assessment and development of plan – price on request
