This course provide the student with the understanding and implementing of the role, duties and responsibilities of the incident commander for initial attack incidents and to activate the ICS structure for extended or complex incidents.
The Incident Commander is the decision maker during incident; Delegating tasks and listening to input from subject matter experts in order to bring the incident to resolution. They become the highest ranking individual on any incident call, regardless of their day-to-day rank.
